I love jazz because it is simply fun! I especially appreciate how the art form embraces improvisation. And, as marketing director at the University of South Carolina School of Music, I am thrilled to be surrounded by fabulous, exciting jazz artists. In addition to working with our faculty — Drs. Matt White, Colleen Clark, Lauren Meccia, and Craig Butterfield — current students in the USC Jazz program have worked and performed with guest artists including the amazing Michael Dease, Rodney Whitaker, Nicole Zuraitis, Quentin E. Baxter and Mimi Jones.
