I was first exposed to jazz...by my Dad, who travelled the world while in the Air Force, becoming exposed to every conceivable artist in Gospel, Jazz, Blues, Classical, Country and beyond. My advice to new listeners...Listen to recorded music, read about the artist, learn about the genre. When you go to hear jazz, after learning about how it works, then it's so much more enjoyable. Or whatever else you have in mind. Jazz is an adventure...ever evolving......enjoy it!!
