My Jazz Story

I love jazz because it includes infinite ways to express your musicality. My main goal, which I plan to pursue for the rest of my life, is to learn for the joy of learning and to grow as a professional of the music business. I can sing in many languages and different styles, however, the final product of my music is very personal and unique. I love to be challenged by new sounds, singing techniques, music styles and to enrich my composition skills acquiring a wider and more global vision of music. Such vision is essential in my music career as I naturally enjoy differences and find common roots in every musical genre that I encounter. For instance, as the vocalist of my Brazilian/Jazz band "NOBRESIL" I find those connections between Brazilian music, Jazz and other styles of music through my personal research for universal beauty and the deep meaning of a genre beyond stereotypes.
