My Jazz Story
The first jazz record I bought was "A Tisket A Tasket" by Ella Fitzgerald. I was eight years old and this sparked my love of Ella
and of jazz. I told my mom "I have discovered this great singer and I want to share her with you. You may like her too". She did
not tell me that everyone knew of Ms. Fitzgerald. She was definitely my first influence and continues to shape how I approach
music.
