My Jazz Story
I love jazz because it tickles my mind.
I was first exposed to jazz in the late eighties.
I met Mike Stern, Dave Holland, Kevin Eubanks and Questlove.
The best show I ever attended was Cyrus Chestnut on JALC, when Gregory Porter sat in with
the band.
The first jazz record I bought was probably Miles Davis "Amandla".
My advice to new listeners is to be open minded.
