About Me
Born in 1968, has made a profession of photography since 1984; freelance journalist since 1989; collaborated with several national and
international photo journalistic agencies becoming very soon fond of shows(he follows shows and festivals for Messagero Veneto cultural
insert especially for regional and national jazz events).
He published a lot of pictures about Udin&Jazz,Gorizia Jazz, Jazz&Wine of Peace,Trieste Jazz,Sacile Jazz, Terni in Jazz Fest, Musica sulle
Bocche (St. Teresa di Gallura), Sant'Anna Arresi Jazz, Euro Jazz Ivrea Festival and many other reviews.
For what concerns theatrical sphere he followed for years Friulan CSS (Teatro Stabile di Innovazione) productions and also several
ventures promoted by Teatro Club and Ente Regionale Teatrale(Udine),cooperates with Teatro Verdi and Thesis Association (Pordenone).
Official photographer of Mittelfest, Alpe Adria Puppet Festival, Rototom Sunsplash and
recently with Fazioli Concert Hall.
He has worked with the birth of Jazzit and actually publishes on Musica Jazz, XL, Corriere
della Sera, Il Sole 24 Ore, L'Espresso and other italian and european magazines.
His images of numerous records for ECM, Cam Jazz, Enja, Universal, Splasc (h), Note, Artesuono, ed. Il Manifesto, Auand and other
independent labels.
Recognized member Tau Visual - Professional Photographers Association of Milan, partner Nps (Nikon Professional Service), is a
founding member of Phocus Agency - Photographers in culture and entertainment (www.phocusagency.com), an agency that aims to
make its own archive and their experience to all who work in the entertainment and music, promoting photography through personal and
collective exhibitions and workshops. In 2007 he published the book Tirait (Disco Regional FVG).
The 2009 is Odwalla - The World of Percussion and Dance (Gianotti Editor), the 2010 is “Enten Eller” (Gianotti Editor).
In 2011 collaborated with the philosopher Fabio Turchini at the project “Il Rovescio della Rosa, vicende d’amore e pieghe dell’anima”, a
multimedia performance (book / cd for Mondadori Electa).
