My Jazz Story
I love jazz because... it is not scripted. Jazz music comes from the soul, and every performance is different. And as a listener, it hits you in the soul.
I was first exposed to jazz... in college, when I attended the W.C. Handy music festival in Florence, Alabama.
I met John D'earth when he was teaching my child's middle school band.
Or whatever else you have in mind. Stay tuned, my son is attending the VCU music school to become a jazz drummer. Watch out for Sammy GM
