Lili Layton sings "Traditional Jazz Standards with a Touch of the Blues".
With a background in classical voice, Lili has been performing various styles of music in the Bay Area as well as in New York City. Her interest in Jazz started several years ago and has been her main focus ever since. Lili’s performances include Bay Area musicians, such as vibraphonist, Herb Gibson; guitarist, Pascal Bokar and drummer, Donald ‘Duck’ Bailey; the Susan Sutton Trio; Ed Kelly; the Jazz Doctors, as well as other great Bay Area musicians. She has opened for Charles Brown and Allan Holdsworth. Lili has just released her debut CD “Demo Sessions Plus Two”. Lili has previously recorded the vocal tracks for Empty Hand and is now in the process of working on new original tunes that will be recorded in the near future.
