Following in the footsteps of Kurt Elling and Harry Connick Jr his style has a contemporary edge whilst still holding true to his jazz roots. Encompassing a jazz funk interpretation of ‘The Lady Is A Tramp’ to the smooth jazz of ‘Smokey Ole Joe’ or tight swing of Sugar Bullets, Collins shows himself to be both a talented writer and a gifted interpreter.
