I love jazz because of it’s freedom of expression... I was first exposed to jazz at home growing up which resulted in my studying classical music at school, later followed by jazz & contemporary music studies at uni… I met Wynton Marsalis later on my journey… The best show I ever attended were too many to choose one… The first jazz record I bought was The Oscar Peterson Trio, Night Train, 1963… My advice to new listeners - Listen with your soul and feel the response…
