About Me
I want to make people happy for the rest of my life.
I have a degree in Strategic Communication with an emphasis in Marketing and Public Relations from Drury University. During my time there, I logged over 300 volunteer hours, studied abroad, held leadership roles, joined multiple organizations, completed an internship at the Gillioz Theatre, and worked part-time—all while being a full-time student. After graduation, I began my career at the Gillioz Center for Arts & Entertainment as Communication Specialist, serving as the voice of the brand through one of the most challenging times for the entertainment industry, that was first to close and last to reopen. After three wonderful years growing my skills with Girl Scouts of the Missouri Heartland as their Public Relations Specialist, I’ve returned to my roots at the Gillioz—this time as Communications Director. I oversee press releases, media relations, and advertising partnerships, while also managing social media for Gillioz Theatre, Historic Fox Theatre, and The Gallery at the Gillioz.

I would love to see Springfield added to the list of Jazz Near me. For Missouri there are only three options: St. Louis, Kansas City, and Columbia. The Gillioz Theatre is doing everything in its power to change this and we would love to expand the Jazz Reach to make it easier for people in Springfield to see all that we are doing. Jazz Festivals, FFAW Jazz Nights, bringing jazz events to our theatre, and hosting the Missouri Jazz Orchestra as one of our Resident Companies.This page was last updated on 2026-02-27.
