Born in Budapest/Hungary. EDUCATION: 1958-1963 Bela Bartok Conservatory, Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest/Hungary. APPOINTMENTS:1963-1973 freelanc Musician, 1973-2003 Teacher/School of Music in Neuss/Germany, 1975-1985 Lecturer / Pedagogical Academy Rheinland/GER, 1996-2006 Artistic Director for Concert Series in Germany. CREATIVE WORKS: over 70 Singles/LPs/CDs, Numerous Radio- and TV- Productions, Concerts, Festivals, Pop-, Jazz-, Classical-, and Experimental Music Collaborations. Nominated four times for the German Critic's Award. HONOURS: 1st Prize 11th. International Competition of Jazz Themes Monaco 1982. Nominated for Top People Poll/International Jazz Forum 1983/1984/1985/1985. In 2024, GRAMOFON Book And Magazine in Budapest/HUN published the trilingual book (Hungarian/German/English) < From Bach to Atonality - with jazz clarinetist Lajos Dudas > Lajos Dudas lives in Überlingen, Lake of Constance/South-Germany.
