About Me

Herbie Hancock meets Mahavishnu!

Fusion Music just got cool again! Spawned in November 2009, these guys separately have practiced Kung Fu on their instruments throughout their lives and now join forces for a funk fusion dynamo that leaves brains whirling and feet dancing. Some of today's most innovative musical minds – who have played with the likes of John Scofield, Warren Haynes and The Allman Brothers, The Dave Matthews Band, Deep Banana Blackout, The Breakfast and RAQ – will be pushing the boundaries of improvisation in a town near YOU! Think Headhunters era Herbie meets Jaco's Weather Report and getting close! Calling themselves Kung Fu, this new super group consists of Tim Palmieri (The Breakfast/guitar), Todd Stoops (RAQ/keys), Kris Jensen (Dickey Betts Band-Jaimoe/sax), David Livolsi (Jazz is Dead/John Scofield/bass) Rob Somerville (Deep Banana Blackout/Sax) and Adrian Tramontano (The Breakfast/drums).
