About Me

KJT – The Swedish brass player Klas Jervfors Turner is a Swedish horn player that mainly plays Trombone, Trumpet, Flugelhorn and Cow horn (Vallhorn). Besides performing live, KJT both writes and arranges music. He has written and arranged music to symphony orchestras, Big Bands, customized settings, youth orchestras, horn sections and choruses.

KJT has released two albums in his own name. The first one, Suburban Dreams was released in 2019 under his name and the second one, ODONATA was released in 2022 under the name KJT & The Dreamers.

The third album Niebla Organica will be released during 2025

As a side man and a backing musician he has performed live and in studio with many bands and artists over the years such as: Linton Kwesi Johnson (A member in the band for 10 years), Stures dansorkester (Still a member), Hada Raïna (A member in the band for 12 years.), Swedish Mingus Band, Tityo, Freddie Wadling, Svenska Akademien, Thomas Andersson Wij, Anna Ternheim, Rebecka Törnkvist, Simone Moreno, Papa Dee, Jessica Andersson, Magnus Uggla, Totta Näslund, Dag Vag, Baba Blues, Peter LeMarc, Dennis Bovell, Helen Sjöholm, Ebba Forsberg, Evon, Daniel Lemma, Titiyo, GRANT and the list continues.
