Unsigned Musician - Creating Music Since 2006
In the early 2000s, as an artist/songwriter I started writing and recording tracks that would become my first digitally released album entitled, “Inner Thoughts Volume 1” released through cdfreedom and iTunes 2 February 2007. Kevin is a native of Chicago Illinois. I have been involved in music from the age of an adolescent playing percussion in my Jr. High School band. Kevin has played music throughout my high school years, as a trombonist in the Manley H.S Jazz Band in Chicago Illinois. I released, “Inner Thought” on my independent label KLE Recordings. TI entire project was recording using Cakewalk Software Sonar 5, Pro Tools 12; and edited with Adobe Audition 1.5 and 2.0. I used the Korg Triton Le, Micro Korg, Korg M1, and Roland JU-06 as a principle instruments on all my projects. I use my personal computer (another tool in my arsenal). I also use my computer to complete a sufficient amount of pre-production in my home studio. I performed and composed all original music on my projects. I also perform under the name K.L.E. from 2008 to 2016. I have decided to go by Kevin Lee Edwards on all future projects.
