About Me

Kevin Fitzsimmons is a London born jazz singer, lyricist/songwriter. His recent album ‘Show Me The Way’ was released to considerable critical acclaim and he’s enjoyed sell- out dates at numerous venues around the UK, including several times at Ronnie Scott’s, a one hour live concert aired on Jazz FM and TV appearance on E4′s Made In Chelsea. He plays well-known jazz clubs like The 606, Herts Jazz Club, enjoyed festival appearances at Southend Jazz Festival and Hever Festival and has sang at Birdland Jazz Club, NYC. His distinctive vocals have featured in TV and radio commercials in UK and Europe - including a TV advert with Hollywood movie star Naomi Watts.

Already forging a reputation as a charismatic presence with an innate sense of swing and a songwriter of high quality. Fitzsimmons and his band present carefully-chosen material, delivering a sassy new take on standards by likes of Mercer, Strayhorn, Jobim, Legrand, Ellington plus original songs (some co- written with Jools Holland saxophonist Derek Nash), along with new translations of anthems from likes of The Beatles, Sam Cooke, Paul Weller, Billy Preston .
