Hi. I'm Kevin, and thanks for visiting my contributor page. I've been writing about various styles of music for various publications since 2005. I live in Peoria, Illinois, where city law actually forbids music culture from existing in public. Despite this, I somehow managed to obtain a copy of Kind of Blue in 2002, and find my way to All About Jazz some nine years later. During non-jazz hours, I enjoy time with my lovely wife and three awesome kids, grilling, playing the guitar (in secret, of course!), and blasting Pearl Jam bootlegs at profane decibels. If you click on the little house icon in the “Contact Me” box (located immediately to your right), you will be instantly transported to my personal blog. I mainly use it to tone muscle, test drive new ideas, etc. But if you've enjoyed my writing here, it should prove a perfectly viable method of wasting several hours at work.
