Saxophonist Kenny Brooks has been living and playing in New York City for the last fifteen years. Brooks has been performing in venerable NYC establishments like Smalls, the 55 Bar, NuBlu, Bar Lunatico and many others. Kenny Brooks is probably best known as a sideman with Bob Weir (Grateful Dead) in his band RatDog from 2000 - 2010. and with other Grateful Dead spinoff projects. He can be heard on Brian Charette’s new recording “Power From The Air” and on Bennett Paster’s latest recording “Indivisible”.
