About Me
My Jazz Story
I love jazz because it reaches into the depths of my being allowing me to soar into the fullness and richness of acknowledging my blessings of a songbird. I was first exposed to jazz by my parents, Aunt Dorothy and Uncle Maurice at an early age. I met Nancy Wilson who left a lasting impression. The best show I ever attended was Tony Bennett at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater FL. It was a commanding performance and was honored to meet him afterwards thru a mutual friend. A humbling spirit. The first jazz record I bought was "Don't Go To Strangers" by Nancy Wilson. My advice to new listeners is to take a minute to go back to the rudiments where it all began while on your journey of creativity.
