My Jazz Story
Jazz is sophisticated and beautiful. It is elegant music, through and through. I enjoy composing and performing jazz. I love the fact that jazz is free within certain musical confines, thus requiring the performer to be thoughtful and artistic at the same time. Jazz is not really predictable, thus it intrigues the ears and stimulates the senses. Some of my favorites from the past are Duke Ellington, Miles Davis, Chet Baker, and Anita O'Day, plus too many more to mention. My musical goals are to create new music for the modern era, and not simply to relive jazz of the past.
