Bassist, Composer, & Teaching Artist
Kameron Markworth is an active bassist and teaching artist based in Minneapolis, MN. He can be found performing with a diverse array of musical artists throughout the midwest on both upright and electric bass. While Kameron is happy to fit into almost any musical situation, he has found a strong passion for both interpreting standards from the Great American Songbook and collaborating with contemporary artists to craft compelling performances of original compositions. Recently, he has enjoyed recording and collaborating with Joan Hutton and Sue Orfield as a member of their group Take That Back, as well as a trio called Polem (Mike Wolter, Joey Van Phillips) slated to release a recording in 2026.
