About Me

Writing about jazz since 1988, she is writing her first historical novel set in the 1800s of an Oregon lighthouse.

She founded Jazz Link in 1988 as a monthly magazine in San Diego. She published that for four years. Moving to Colorado in 1992, she and guitarist Dale Bruning formed a partnership under Jazz Link Enterprises in 1996. They produced Dale's first CD on their JLE label in NYC in 1995 and have produced 8 of his CDs on their label. They also produce and present their signature concert series called “The Timeless Music of Great Composers.” Jude researches, writes a script, and reads it throughout their featured composer concert. Dale writes new arrangements for his various ensembles, plays, and leads the musicians during the same concert. Featured composers include Duke Ellington, Antonio Carlos Jobim, George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Benny Golson, Tadd Dameron, Dale Bruning, and Harold Arlen, among many others. Jude is writing her first historical novel, set in the 1800s of an Oregon lighthouse.
