About Me
A jazz guitarists, composer, and arranger based in the Houston area.
I am a jazz guitarist based in Houston, TX. I received a BA in music at the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami. While attending the Frost School of Music, I studied under Randall Dollahon and received a downbeat award with the funk-fusion ensemble in 2006. In 2015 I received a Masters in Music Education. I currently enjoy being a full-time educator and gigging musician. I teach full-time at the Emery/Weiner School where the instrumental music program has won the prestigious NAMM award for “Outstanding Support of Music Education” 3 years in a row. I am also currently composing and recording with the jazz/fusion group Groove Adhesive as well as arranging, recording, and producing for my own project The All Original Cover Band. In July 2020, I will be releasing a full-length album of solo-guitar arrangements titled “Solo Sessions Vol. I.”
