About Me

In 2009, I began a small blog called Rehearsing the Blues. My writing there, which was about a combination of new releases and old favorites, led to opportunities to write for Nextbop.com and AllAboutJazz. After stepping away from music writing in 2014 to focus on my burgeoning career as a high school educator, I am excited to be returning to writing and contributing to the jazz community in my own small way. I currently live in Boston, Massachusetts.
