About Me
I attended the University of Northern Iowa School of Music and studied with Rick Lawn and Bob Washut. I toured with The Russ Morgam Orchestra in 1984. I moved to Kansas City in 1986. I have played with Ida McBeth, Rich Hill, Monty Muza, Rod Fleeman, Ro and the Brickhouse Band, Jazz Plus, Arnie Young and the Omnivarians, and various other individuals and groups. I currently play in the Cynthia van Roden Trio with Rick Mareske and Cynthia.
My Jazz Story
The best show I ever attended was Weather Report at Iowa State in the
early 80s.
