About Me
My Jazz Story
As a kid I listened to Jazz on the radio when the rest of my friends were into rock and roll etc. I'd listen to the late night station and fall asleep to Ella and Duke and Gloria Lynne and Count Basie and more. I was first exposed to jazz... I met [musician name]... The best show I ever attended was... The first jazz record I bought was... My advice to new listeners... Or whatever else you have in mind.
My House Concert Story
In January 2020 we hosted our first house party at our home here in Manhattan. It was attended by folks that we know who were at Jazz Congress at Lincoln Center , local musicians and friends. Frank Wilkins played piano and Larry Roland played bass. We played songs from the then anticipated CD "Choices" and a few new ones. More shows are planned when Covid and it's variants have run it's course.
