About Me
Jim Munoz is a Southern California percussionist and band leader. Jim founded and leads the Latin Jazz and Salsa band Mambop based in the Inland Empire. The band plays originals, and classic Latin Jazz from Cal Tjader, Poncho Sanchez, Tito Puente and Eddie Palmieri. In addition to Latin Jazz the band plays traditional old school Salsa for venues that are looking for a dancing atmosphere. The band is perfect for festivals and corporate events because of the mix of music that they play.
