My Jazz Story

I love jazz because... it has freedom to express yourself. I was first exposed to jazz...when I was 17. I met [musician name]...Dexter Gordon, Ben Webster, Clark Terry, Roy Eldridge, Dizzy Gillespie and others. The best show I ever attended was...Weather Report in the 70ies. The first jazz record I bought was...Ball Masque- Duke Ellington. My advice to new listeners...Be aware of new developments in contemporary jazz. listen with an open mind. Always be true to yourself as a musician.
