My Jazz Story

Raised in Texas blues country in a house full of music, vocalist Jeffrey Gimble is the son of Houston saxophonist and bandleader Maynard Gimble. He became involved in the Los Angeles jazz scene 5 years ago, upon moving here from New York. He coaches regularly with Tamir Hendelman, who did the arrangements and plays on Jeffrey's debut cd "Beyond Up High", produced by singer/songwriter/producer Mark Winkler, and coming out this Spring (2013).
