Raised in Houston, Texas in a house full of music, vocalist Jeffrey Gimble is the son of Houston bandleader Maynard Gimble. He became involved in the Los
Angeles jazz scene 16 years ago, upon moving here from New York City. He coaches regularly with vocalist Kate McGarry, and is thrilled to be releasing his second recording
"Brand New Key", with pianist/arranger Josh Nelson, guitarist Larry Koonse, bassist Dan Lutz, drummer Dan Schnelle and produced by Josh Nelson. The album was release on
April 4, 2025.
