My Jazz Story

I was first exposed to jazz as a child by my parents' Nancy Wilson records. I fell in love with her elegance and her silky voice, and dreamed of making music as beautiful. In college, a friend introduced me to Dave Brubeck, Ahmad Jamal, Randy Crawford, Herbie Hancock and Lee Morgan. For the first time I realized I could sing jazz and still be me. It's an ongoing musical love affair that has lasted my entire life.
