I love jazz because it eliminates distractions from everyday life and it SOUNDS good. I was first exposed to Jazz by hearing a Clifford Brown record at the age of 12. Out of nowhere later in life, I started writing song lyrics. And then in 1983, I met Jimmy Miller and we've been writing music ever since. "Cy Green", writing name, came about in 2009.
