About Me
I am a music student at an arts highschool in Chicago.
I am a student of jazz and classical guitar. But my heart is in jazz, where I hope to pursue a career as a musician. I consider my self to have a strong knowledge of jazz history and standards, but I am always ready to learn more and I hope that I do.

My Jazz Story
I love jazz because it can say it all, and all are welcome.
I first encountered jazz in highschool. I am currently a music student
at an arts highschool in Chicago and I hope to be a succsesful jazz
musician.
The best shows I have attended are a Charles Mingus tributary concert
by the Chicago Jazz Ensemble, the SF Jazz Collective playing the music
of Chick Corea, and of course, the school jazz recitals we have.
The first jazz record I bought was Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers
Moanin' album
