Irene Nachreiner

About Me

Irene is a singer/songwriter/band leader of a Brazilian Jazz band called "Irene and Her Latin Jazz Band." We do So Cal Brazilian Jazz.

I'm a singer with my own band. My abilities as a singer were first recognized and rewarded in October of 2003 when I performed at a guest talent show at the Club Med in Bora Bora and was offered a three week gig on the spot singing at the resort. I accepted the challenge and have been returning there to sing several times a year ever since. In October 2008 I celebrated her fifth year of entertaining on the island of Bora Bora with a three week gig there. I was born to a musical family and was on my first stages by age three. A lifetime of music study, classical piano, Drama (B.A. cum laude at UC Irvine), voice and acting have helped form my style and ease in front of an audience and microphone. I sing in English, French, Spanish and Portugese. I was chosen as a “Fabulous Find” by the listeners at radio station KLAC 690 in Los Angeles. I was nominated for “Female Vocalist of the Year - Latin” for the 17th Annual Los Angeles Music Awards. I am joined by a group of top notch musicians on my first CD “Summer Samba.” My second release “A Song of You” has been receiving great reviews and has been played on radio stations all over the US and overseas. I was recently nominated “Jazz Artist of the Year” by the 19th annual Los Angeles Music Awards.
