The best show I ever attended was...Wynton Marsalis Sextet at Cheek to Cheek in Orlando 1988
The first jazz record I bought was..."Blue Trane" John Coltrane 1960, I was 10 years old.
My advice to new listeners...Don't stop listening. It can at times be hard to understand but listen again and still again until your mind begins to open.
