My Jazz Story

I love jazz because it is freedom I was first exposed to jazz. with my cousin when I was 12 years old and listened to Charles Mingus. That hit me... I met Dave Liebman, Horace Silver, Jiggs Whigham (my teacher) and many others The best show I ever attended was Richard Bona withe Metropole Orchestra The first jazz record I bought was Dave Brubeck My advice to new listeners...stay open minded Or whatever else you have in mind.
