My Jazz Story

I love jazz because the music found me and has influenced my life. I was first exposed to jazz in my parents home in the early 60's. I met and worked with numberous of artists including: Marian McPartland, Ellis Marsalis, Jimmy Heath, Richie Cole, Freddy Cole just to name a few. The best show I ever attended was a concert I produced with LifeForce, it was a tribute to John Coltrane in 1998. The first jazz record I bought was John Klemmer's Touch! My advice to new listeners is to do more then listen...volunteer, support, etc! Or whatever else you have in mind.
