My Jazz Story

I love jazz because... of the way it makes me fill. I was first exposed to jazz... By my church memeber Ralphe Armstrong I met [musician name]... Ralphe Armstrong The best show I ever attended was...Ralphe Armstrong The first jazz record I bought was...Miles Davis My advice to new listeners...Just listen to all tyoes of Jazz it will speak to you and make your smile. Or whatever else you have in mind. When we can go back to live music. Go to a show at least one a month! These musician have not been working much in 2020 so we need to support them.

My House Concert Story

In Detroit MI we have an annual 4th Sunday in June at 4pm Jazz fundraiser for our Food and Prison Ministry (Angel Tree) Outreach. Ralphe Armstrong and friends preform. Donations is $15.00 at Metropolitan Baptist Church. Of course 2020 was canceled but maybe we can host outside in 2021. Even a drive up is an option. Well as usual we will pray and in the meantime.
