Harvey Brooks is the legendary bass player on some of the most seminal albums of the 20th Century (Highway 61 Revisited with Bob Dylan, Bitches Brew with Miles Davis, Super Session with Al Kooper and Mike Bloomfield and the Soft Parade with the Doors). Harvey is based in Tucson,Arizona where he has put together The 17th Street Band. “Positively 17th Street” may be a sly reference to Harvey's past, but his groups of musicians could only be a part of his present.
