I love jazz because...It expresses the human soul warts and all I was first exposed to jazz...very young, Django Reinhardt then Errol Garner I met [musician name]...Michel Petrucciani The best show I ever attended was... The first jazz record I bought was...concert by the sea, Errol Garner My advice to new listeners...Listen to earlier stuff first, it grounds you in what follows next. Also, like Chick Corea says; watch musicians performing. It gives you clues as to what the heck is going on! Or whatever else you have in mind. Keep listening to jazz....Live. We need you.
