greyfade {www.greyfade.com} is a record label presenting process-based works in both physical & high-resolution digital forms. founded in 2019 by musician & recording engineer joseph branciforte, greyfade takes as its basic premise the idea of an album as a complete conceptual universe unto itself — integrating sound, compositional architecture, visual design, and text into a single object worthy of sustained engagement. the label’s roster includes artists working at the intersections of procedural composition, acoustic & electronic minimalism, alternative tuning systems, and digitally mediated forms of improvisation. greyfade releases are not available on streaming services.
