My Jazz Story
I was raised a jazz fan. My parents were into it. Along with classical music and Deep Purple. Very eclectic. I learned to play drums from age 11, taking private lessons
from a very prominent jazz drummer at the time. I joined the navy and played in jazz big bands and small jazz combos at fairs and events. Now I work part time as a
drummer, trying to crack a gig in jazz in Melbourne, Australia.
