About Me
In years past I was a part time drummer with a passion for a various type of music. I now spend most of time as a listener and collector of Vinyl Records and CDs. Although I was raised in Pennsylvania, I spent almost twenty years living in Miami which has given me a great appreciation for Latin Music. I then lived in Western North Carolina where I was exposed to Blue Grass music. So, throughout my life I have come to love all kinds of music and now I am focusing more on jazz. I love jazz because...
I was first exposed to jazz...
I met [musician name]...I meet Billy Cobham at a clinic and was astounded by his abilities as a drummer.
The best show I ever attended was...
The first jazz record I bought was Clifford Brown and Max Roach because Max Roach spoke to our college class about rhythm.
My advice to new listeners... Keep your mind open and listen to all different types of jazz.
