My Jazz Story
I love jazz because after years of listening - and not liking = to my father play jazz records
and jazz on his own standing bass ., I have come to love it.
I met Wynton Marsalis early in his career and was entranced.
One of the best shows I ever attended was a Samara Joy concert in Katina, NY. Her voice is
butter..
The first jazz record I bought was Evidence by Monk.
My advice to new listeners is to be willing to explore.
