I love jazz because of it's freedom and momentum. My first band was a jazz band and our goal was to be able to play 100 jazz standards. I was 13 years old and I only got my first drum set a couple months ago. Only later I was exposed to the local rock bands and I started playing with them but I soon realized that I didn't like the constant repetition of rock songs. Jazz gives you more freedom and allows musicians to express themselves more on their instruments. I like that. I like that jazz. It's All About Jazz!!!
