About Me
Gary M. Gorman, a composer with a diverse background in computer-written music and electric or upright bass performance, Gary was first introduced to piano at age 8 and soon began composing. Through university music school, Gary studied composition under Larry Austin and performed in rock, metal, jazz, tejano and p/w groups as a bassist.

a community college improve
class.

Orleans Jazz & Heritage Fest.
The first jazz record I bought
was Miles Davis' Aura.
My advice to new listeners is
to start with Dixieland and
20's swing, then explore
modern jazz and the
advancement of jazz theory.
