Gabrielle Goodman is a vocal recording artist, composer,educator and author.

Gabrielle Goodman, also known as Gabrielle A. Goodman has a new CD out entitled Jazz Life. The singer has recorded 6 stellar jazz CDs previously with two for the JMT/Verve label in the 1990's. The CDs “Travelin Light” and “Until We Love” feature the singer with Kevin Eubanks, Christian Mcbride, Tony Bunn, Terri Lyne Carrington, Mulgrew Miller, Barry Miles, David Bunn, Gary Bartz, Buddy Williams, Gary Thomas and a host of other jazz giants. Her most recent CD entitled “Angel Eyes” features her in a smooth jazz and soul setting with saxophonist Walter Beasley offering a new twist to the jazz classic on the title cut and spotlighting Goodman's writing on six of the nine songs on the CD. The CD quickly became a favorite of soul jazz fans. Known for her versitility, Goodman also toured for many years as a backing vocalist for R&B icons, Roberta Flack, Chaka Khan, Patti Labelle, Freddie Jackson and others. She has also toured and recorded with Norman Connors as a lead vocalist and graced the theatrical stage with Michael Buble in ”Forever Swing”. She also co-starred with Dee Dee Bridgewater in the Canadian production of Ain't Misbehavin'. A classically trained singer and jazz educator, Gabrielle Goodman is a graduate of the Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore, Md and a longtime voice professor at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. Ms. Goodman's credits also extend into the field of writing where she wrote the song “You Can Make The Story Right” for Chaka Khan. She has just released her first work as an author.
