I love jazz music of all genres because it allows you to be YOU!!! I was first exposed to jazz back in '65....When my older brother,"DOC",shared the music of Miles,Coltrane,Wes Montgomery and tons of other hip cats with me. I met Jeff Lorber and gave him a cd of my music,He told me,"Keep Makin" those Funky Jams!" The best show I ever attended was when I played percussion with Jazz Guitarist Nick Colionne!!! The first jazz record I bought Herbie Hancock's..."Headhunters" My advice to new listeners is to have an open mind and enjoy the music!!!
