My Jazz Story
I was first exposed to jazz when I accidentally stumbled on Moanin' by Charles Mingus on YouTube my freshman year of college. The fire of that tune captivated me right away and I downloaded as many jazz albums as I could by Mingus, Sun Ra, Miles Davis,
Eric Dolphy and others. I listened to them on the bus for the many long hours on a concert band tour.
