I am the son of JC Heard
J. C. Heard went to Japan touring with Jazz At The Philharmonic in 1953. He loved Japan so much that he decided to stay. He met my mother, who was a fashion model at the time, fell in love, got married and had a son...me, Eric Heard. I am not a musician. I am a businessman. My involvement in jazz, besides being a fan, is supporting jazz by helping young jazz musicians through a non-profit organization called “JC Heard JazzWeek@Wayne.
