An ebullient new Jazz voice with an artistry and style reminiscent of the classic Jazz divas of yesteryear. Hailing from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and now a resident of Henderson, Nevada. ELISA CAN BE SEEN PERFORMING STANDARDS AS WELL AS her original compositions from her new CD titled “Labor Of Love”. The album was recorded when Elisa was pregnant with her first child “Olivia”. You may remember Elisa from her days as a “Pop Diva”! After winning Star Search in 1985, she went on to release three albums with Chrysalis Records and had the opportunity to work with: Jellybean Benitez, Savage Garden, Dave Koz, La Toya Jackson, Belinda Carlisle, Billie Myers and Prince. She also received the award for “Best New Artist” at the Tokyo Music Festival in Japan in 1989. In 2002 at the Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles, Elisa was chosen as the opening act for the late great Nina Simone. She has received rave reviews for her live performance, spontaneity on stage, musicianship… not to mention her exceptional voice.
